  • Case & Material: 40mm case made from an 18k homogeneous gray gold alloy that remains white naturally without needing rhodium plating. It features a matching solid white gold Oyster bracelet and a tachymetric scale bezel. 
  • The Sodalite Dial: A rich royal-blue natural mineral dial with characteristic white calcite streaks. While most sodalite dials were fitted with factory white gold diamond hour markers, a few ultra-rare variants were configured with applied 5-minute Arabic numerals. The hands and hardware are also white gold to prevent tarnishing. 
  • Movement: Powered by the Rolex in-house Caliber 4130, a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement featuring a 72-hour power reserve, vertical clutch mechanism, and a highly antimagnetic Parachrom blue hairspring. 
  • Market Status: Produced during a very brief run in the mid-to-late 2000s, this reference has transitioned into a highly sought-after collector’s piece & ultra rare.
