A deeply personal creation, The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone is a homage to the timepiece that first ignited Jacob Arabo’s watchmaking journey. Inspired by a vintage double-time zone watch gifted to him by his father, this 43mm piece blends emotional heritage with high horology. Crafted in 18K rose gold, the rounded case is topped by a dramatically curved sapphire crystal that reflects the globe-inspired contours of the dial. The black lacquered surface features a detailed rendering of the western hemisphere with rose gold-finished continents and a compass rose at the centre, requiring the hands to be mounted at a 12° incline for clarity across the domed dial. Inside ticks the self-winding JCAA11 calibre, which independently drives both time zones down to the minute—ideal for regions with unconventional UTC offsets, such as India. A rose gold caseback engraved with a world map completes the concept. Fitted on a black alligator leather strap with a matching rose gold pin buckle, this watch is a poetic intersection of personal memory and global vision.

That watch was a rare and once-famous Wakmann timepiece featuring two independent time zones and a world map on its dial. The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone reinterprets the original Wakmann watch through Jacob & Co.’s distinctive approach to luxury watchmaking and innovative design.
The dial features a finely detailed, laser-engraved representation of the Western Hemisphere, creating an impressive three-dimensional sky-view effect. Its intricate surface is produced using a specially developed, high-precision mould, highlighting the exceptional attention to detail.
Movement & Technical Specifications
At the heart of The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone is the Jacob & Co. calibre JCAA11, a manually wound movement developed specifically for this exceptional travel timepiece.
Inspired by the original Wakmann mechanism, the movement incorporates modern watchmaking refinements and a dual-time-zone complication that allows both time displays to be adjusted independently. A dedicated small-seconds counter completes the display.
